RICHARD FARALLA: Duane "Richard" Raoul Faralla was born in New York on March 19, 1916. "Richard" Faralla studied at the California School of Fine Arts. Previously a painter, in 1959 he turned to sculptures and reliefs assembled from small scraps of wood gathered from construction sites. A long-time resident of San Francisco, he died in Sonoma County, California on August 2, 1996. Exhibited: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 1966 (solo).
