Welcome to ROBERT FOSTER'S gallery of art. "I've painted for several decades and am grateful to have made a living selling my art during those years. I attended the Academy of art in San Francisco and spent 4 years studying illustration and fine art applications. My mediums are many. I work with oil on both canvas and masonite board, some acrylic, charcoal pencil and pen and ink. I work alot in gouache opaque watercolor and in gouache watercolor with digital enhancements."

"I have always had a love for creating things. I began painting early in my childhood and by the time I was a
teenager I was already doing fairs, festivals and art galleries. I attended the San Francisco Academy of art and
studied commercial illustration and fine art applications for four years. My work encompassed many different
mediums in the following several decades including charcoal on paper, oil on both canvas and treated masonite
board, both transparent watercolor and gouache opaque watercolor and a combination of gouache with digital
enhancements."
