A scarce Monterey Furniture drop-front
secretary desk in green with hand painted floral design. Made by Mason
Manufacturing Company of Los Angeles, California, circa. 1930's. This
piece has the branded mark "Monterey" with the horseshoe logo. It is in
original condition with original painted detail. There is paint loss to
floral decoration which is very common with these pieces. It could be
professionally restored or enjoyed in it's original condition with the
charm and character of a vintage piece. Paint loss to floral decoration and wood
knobs. One knob is a vintage replacement. Minor water damage to upper
left corner with small section of veneer missing on back side. Measures 30.25ʺW × 16.25ʺD × 66.5ʺH.
